HP Pavilion G4 Windows 7 Driver
All driver compatible with Windows 7 32 and 64 bit (starter/home/home premium/professional/ultimate..) unless i provide separate download links. I try my best to create a post which provide drivers to all HP-G4 model.
READ FIRST:
1. Installing Driver: Download base on AMD and Intel model

2. Graphic Driver
There are different graphic driver across HP Pavilion G4 model, so here i listed the most driver wok with this model. At the end of the post i will provide alternative driver if the driver below didn't work.
Most of the HP G4 model use AMD graphic but some of them use Nvidia graphic, you should know the spec yourself (when you buying it, it mentioned in the specs) or test which work for you.

Intel 965/965GM Windows 8 Driver
Different drivers = different result, that's what happened if you try to install intel graphic 965/965GM and failed. Windows 8 driver base on my experience is compatible with windows 7 driver, and windows 7 did support Intel 965/965GM Graphic chip. So I list several methods to install Intel 965/965GM Windows 8 Driver.
1. Automatic updates.
This method is not preferable for most users, since they only provide update for certain product. But this just work on acer aspire one AOD250 which using intel 965 express chipset family chip.
2. Using Intel Automatic Driver update Utility:
Go to this page http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and click on the CONTINUE button under the Intel automatic update utility. It will prompt you to install something and install it, wait until detection finish and install the recommended driver. (You must have java installed).
3. Use original Windows 7 Driver
You can install using your original Windows 7 driver (choose 32 or 64 bit base on your OS). Right click and install as admin. If it doesn't work:
-Install using compatibility mode-
Right click on the setup, or installation file, select properties - compatibility - and set to windows 7. Right click again and select run as admin to install.
-Manual Installation-
a) Extract the driver files.
b) Open device manager, right click on standard VGA and select UPDATE DRIVER.
c) Select BROWSE MY COMPUTER FOR DEVICE DRIVER.
d) Select browse and point to the driver folder we extracted earlier.
e) continuw with on screen installation untill finish and reboot.

3. STEP 3: Choosing the SATA Diver and Slipstream Guide.
Note. For certain model such as ACER 4530 please check on your BIOS to enable AHCI mode from IDE mode. Sometimes there are model which do not need to use SATA driver.
STEP 1 : Install CPU-Z
1. First you need to install CPU-Z in order to identify the right SATA Driver For you Model.
2. You can Download CPU-Z here: Download page
3. Then Install it by double click on it.
4. Continue till installation finish.
5. Start CPU-Z
STEP 2: Identify your Chipset
1. At this point you should have CPU-Z installed in your system.
2. You will see a shortcut on your desktop and double click to run it.
3. Then select mainboard panel and look at the chipset. There you will see AMD or INTEL or Nvidia.
4. This information we will use to determine the right sata Driver for slipstreaming process.
5. Take note for the Chipset and continue to STEP 3.
6. Go to step 3 For:
A: INTEL CHIPSET -:
1. HM65, HM67, UM67, QS67 or QM67
Download sata driver: Download
2. PM55, HM57, QM57 or QS57
Download sata driver: Download
3. HM55
Download sata driver: Download
4. GL40, GS40, GM45, GS45 or PM45
Download sata driver: Download
5. GL960, GML960, GM965 or PM965
Download sata driver: Download
6. 940GML, 943GML, 945GM, 945GMS, 945PM or 945GSE
Download sata driver: Download
7. NM10
Download sata driver: Download

B: NVIDIA CHIPSET-:
1. For ION or ION LE chipset (HP Mini 311 and Compaq Mini 311c series models)
2. other Nvidia chipsets

- no sata driver and slipstream needed
C: AMD CHIPSET-:
For any AMD model use the same sata driver (additinal sata driver link included in the DOC file.

For Cq41 AMD base model if AMD sata AhCI above didnt work use this one:
Download AMD sata CQ41 (link dead will fix it later)
This sata upload by kiwielz which tested on his CQ41-110AU
For INTEL if you have problem with sata above u may try this sata:
SATA AHCI10 for intel base model:
Download (link dead will fix it later)
Only some ACER model and other model beside COMPAQ/HP need to slipstream the sata Driver.
PLEASE DO CHECK IN YOU BIOS FIRST!
IF THERE IS SATA MODE OPTIONS, CHANGE FROM IDE TO AHCI.
If the process failed and you want to repeat please delete all previous folder and start over again with new folder.
