Dell Studio 1735 XP Drivers - COMPLETE SET

UPDATE ON 8/23/2009

I already check all the link from other site and most of them didn't work anymore so i upload to mediafire, download and install, inform back the progress, if there still broken links leave your comments and i will reply as soon as possible.

Wireless Driver: Dell Wireless 1510

The instruction:

1) Download R189133.exe from dell .com
http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R1891 33&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=259099

2) When you run the file, it will say it can't install the driver.

3) However, you can manually install the driver via the Device Manager.

(right click My Computer... select Properties... select the Hardware Tab... press the Device Manager button... find the network controller with the yellow question mark... right click and select Update Driver...)"

Wireless Drivers for Dell Studio 1735 XP Driver - Tested Success

This method of installing wireless driver for Dell Wireless 1510 and Adapter is not tested by me but from others experience based on the post at http://www.laptops-drivers.com/....-1735-laptop.htm.

He notice that the hardware is actually Dell Wireless 1510 and Adapter.

Follow this simple instruction to solve your problem.
a. You have to download R189133. exe file from Dell Official Site or taken from here

b. DO NOT INSTALL DRIVER
c. Go to Device Manager => Right Click on “My Computer” =>Properties => Hardware Tab => Device Manager Button => You have to find Network Controller with yellow question mark => Right click on it and Update Drivers

HP Pavillion Dv 5 1116em XP Driver

This laptop comes with a SATA hard disk for which the drivers are not available in the Windows XP installation CD and therefore the Windows setup does not recognize the SATA disk . So we need to create a custom Windows XP installation CD with SATA driver added.
To do this please follow the below steps.
Download nLite (which is used to add the necessary drivers and to create a windows XP Installation CD) from

Download the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager Floppy Configuration Utility from here

Copy the Folder where the vista drivers are located (Generally in c:\SwSetup)
Down load the XP drivers for HP Pavillion dv5 1116 from the below locations

NOTE: This was the driver recommended by HP but In my case it did not work, so I installed the same from the Vista installation and it worked fine for me.
