NO sound after restart:
1.
Download devcon utilities from microsoft.
2. open notepad, write this line "
DEVCON.EXE RESTART
"PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_3607103C&REV_03"
note the second line "PCI/VEN_........." it is a ID for UAA BUS driver for HD AUDIO, and it may differ for different laptop but i suggest use the following line i 'd created, you can check your ID on hardware properties. 3. Then save the notepad as
audiopatch.bat and save it at c:\patch folder, if there are no c:\patch folder, create new folder and name it as patch(on C: partition).
4. then, ectract the devcon.exe, you need to copy the following files:
\i386\devcon.exe(for 32-bit)
ia64\devcon.exe (for 64-bit)
and paste it at the c:/patch which contain the audiopatch.bat files.
you may create shortcut to the desktop for the audiopatch.bat.
ORupdate your bios to version
